Deluxe Yilmaz Topkapi Calabash Meerschaum Pipe - Yilmaz creates another masterpiece with this carving in the form of a Topkapi calabash. Every detail is meticulously carved, beginning with the intricate bead and lattice carving on the calabash rim. The carving below the rim was inspired by Istanbul's Topkapi Palace. Under that part lies a magnificent 3D round lattice, with Yilmaz carving out a space beneath each lattice hole to give the pipe a more three-dimensional appearance. A lattice motif is carved on the underside of the pipe bowl and extends up the shank. The Yilmaz signature can be located on the side of the shank. This lovely pipe is finished with a light-colored, tiger-patterned full-bent stem.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
