Sultan with Turban Meerschaum Pipe - For the price, this sultan meerschaum pipe offers a good-sized pipe bowl and detailed carving. The moustache and beard are finely carved. He wears a turban decorated with lattice carving. The lattice theme carries onto the underside and shank. A dark, translucent bent stem finishes the pipe nicely.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom-made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit and unique to this sultan meerschaum pipe.
