Hand Carved Sultan Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - Detailed portrait carving of a bearded Sultan wearing a turban decorated with a feather. The underside and shank is fully carved in round lattice. The pipe is finished with a full bent stem colored in marbled shades of dark amber.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum imported directly from the central plains of Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped into beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will continue to color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet lined brass hinged case which is custom fitted and unique to that individual pipe.
