Smooth Claw Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - A timeless, classic Turkish-designed pipe has a smooth bowl held by the talons of a claw. The scales and feathers are carved in great detail. The churchwarden stem is extra long, allowing time for the smoke to cool as it travels from the bowl to the mouthpiece.  

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability. Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a kind piece of artistry.

NOTE: This pipe does not come in a custom fitted case, however, it does fit in our Churchwarden Velvet Chest.
