Special Smooth Calabash Meerschaum Pipe - Traditional calabash pipe is quite large and features a deep bowl. Holding the pipe feels very good in the hand with the smooth lightly polished finish. The full bent stem is marbled in an amber color. An excellent pipe for the pipe smoker who favors the classic calabash style.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a special fit and unique to this calabash pipe.
