Small Bowl Claw Knurl Meerschaum Pipe - This pipe is a handsome carving of an eagle claw holding a short pipe bowl. The small bowl will hold enough tobacco for a quick smoke. There is a touch of decorative designer lattice carving on the front. The knurl has a carved floral design along with a wide smooth band where it connects to the stem. The bent stem is colored in a gentle swirl of amber shades. The pipe is rather long, making it an ideal choice for the tobacco smoker who prefers extra length.

A knurl is a piece of solid block meerschaum that is designed in either a carved or smooth finish. It fits on the shank of the meerschaum pipe and serves as an attractive extension. A knurl makes the shank longer, thereby increasing the overall length of the pipe. With this extension, the smoke has further to travel, which gives more time to cool down before reaching the end of the mouthpiece. Knurls on our meerschaum pipes have a Teflon threaded connector, making it easy to remove when cleaning the pipe.
