Skull and Snake Hat Meerschaum Pipe - An imaginative apprentice carved this unique skull meerschaum pipe. The skull still has hair, which is held in place by a hat. A snake wraps itself around the brim of the hat. The smooth shank connects to a bent stem. The connection is a tiny bit off-center. This does not affect the pipe's function, but it does make for a lower price!

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom-made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit and unique to this skull meerschaum pipe.
