Special Sitting Smooth Meerschaum Pipe - An excellent representation of a meerschaum sitting pipe, this sitter is perfect-looking. The flat bottom allows it to sit without toppling over and spilling tobacco. The hand-carved, smooth finish is polished to a fine gloss. The smooth shank sweeps upward, attaching to a lighter-colored, swirled amber-bent stem.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a kind piece of artistry. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to this smooth sitting meerschaum pipe.
