Special President Ulysses S. Grant Signed Meerschaum Pipe - An exceptional portrait carving of President Ulysses S. Grant by Master Carver Erdogan. Every detail is covered, from his full head of hair, his groomed moustache and beard, to the stars on his jacket collar. The smooth shank has the Erdogan signature and it is joined to a scrolled designer bent stem. A first-rate carving of a famous U.S. General and President who was also an avid pipe smoker. This pipe represents a fine piece of American history.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a special fit and unique to this Ulysses S. Grant pipe.
