Deluxe Smooth Platform Sitting Meerschaum Pipe - The Turkish carver did an excellent job balancing this smooth pipe which features a small flat platform that allows the pipe to sit. It is carved in an Oom Paul style with an angled bowl that has touches of carved designer lattice. The flared shank has a beveled edge joining a full bent, amber colored saddle stem.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand carved pipe comes in a custom-made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to this smooth platform meerschaum pipe.
