Special Pelican Designer Stem Meerschaum Pipe - What an unusual find! This pipe is a carving of a pelican, and it shows off his long beak and throat pouch. His head is turned to one side, and his wings span both sides of the pipe bowl. With a smooth underside, he appears to be gliding through water. The shank is smooth and attaches to a vibrantly colored, marbled designer bent stem. It is rare to find a carving of a pelican pipe, and this is the only one in our collection.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
