Oom Paul Happy Bacchus Meerschaum Pipe - Judging by the expression on his face, this Bacchus has taken a little too much wine! He is smiling, yet his eyes slant downward with a drowsy look. The portrait carving shows Bacchus with a full, wavy beard wearing a wreath of grape leaves. A cluster of grapes hangs down on each side of the good-sized pipe bowl. The smooth shank points upward, giving the pipe an Oom Paul look. A bent stem colored in marbled shades of amber completes the pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
