Deluxe Old Man Smoking Calabash Meerschaum Pipe - A traditional portrait carving of an old man puffing on a meerschaum pipe is a classic beauty. His face is intricately carved, with pronounced round cheekbones, a thick mustache, a long, curling beard, and frown lines between his eyes. He has a tassel dangling from one side of his traditional stocking cap. The bowl of the pipe is deep but narrow. This pipe's ability to sit upright and not topple over is due to the full beard carving, which is another excellent feature. The finishing touch to this endearing pipe with lots of personality is a bent stem with a rich, amber-toned tint.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
