Special Old Man Gold Band Smoking Meerschaum Pipe - A broad gold-colored band accentuates this superb portrait carving of an old gentleman smoking a meerschaum pipe. The pipe's carving depicts a long mustache flowing into a wavy beard. The elderly man's drowsy, crow's feet eyes are covered by a tasseled nightcap. The deep bowl of the pipe is ideal for holding a large quantity of pipe tobacco. Attached to the gold band is a bent black stem that offers a contrast to the white meerschaum; this provides a remarkable distinction.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
