Lion Lattice Shank Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe

Lion Lattice Shank Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - A carving of a snarling lion head with an open mouth and sharp teeth. The lion has a flowing mane that frames the sides of the pipe bowl of this churchwarden pipe. The underside and shank are carved in a round lattice pattern. The bent churchwarden stem is quite long and marbled in swirls of amber shades. The extra-long stem enhances the smoking experience by allowing the smoke to cool as it travels from the pipe bowl to the end of the mouthpiece.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability. Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are the same. 

NOTE: This pipe does not come in a custom fitted case, however, it does fit in our Churchwarden Velvet Chest.
