The carving of his face is fully detailed, from prominent round cheekbones and a rounded nose to a curly beard. The classic stocking cap with a pom pom end holds down his long hair. This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
