Laughing Pirate Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - What a jolly pirate this is. He must have found the loot! He has a wide-open laughing mouth framed by a handlebar moustache and a full beard. A cross-stitch eye patch covers one eye as he peers out with the other. The pirate cap he wears is carved in a rusticated manner. The pipe features round lattice carving on the underside and up the shank. A bent stem that sweeps upward in an Oom Paul style and is colored in rich marbled shades of amber.

In addition to its pleasing look, the long stem of a churchwarden pipe serves to keep smoke and heat further away from the pipe smoker's face. Along with the natural filtering quality of meerschaum, which is known to deliver a cool, dry smoking experience, a churchwarden stem allows smoke to cool even more as it travels the extra distance from the bowl to the end of the mouthpiece.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as you smoke it. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
