The pipe is carved in a smooth, lightly polished finish. It has a black, straight stem that accentuates the horn's form. The claw pipe has a smooth bowl held in the clutches of an eagle's talons. The leg of the claw functions as the pipe's shank, and it attaches to a dark brown bent stem. The small bowls of the mini pipes make them ideal for a quick smoke. These mini meerschaum pipes are hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipes are carved, they are dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipes will change color over time as they are smoked. The stems are made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
