Deluxe Holmes and Watson Set of Meerschaum Pipes - This beautiful set of portrait carvings features Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. Sherlock is carved smoking his traditional calabash pipe, has a turned up collar, and wears a Deerstalker hat. Watson is carved to feature his dapper look with a brimmed hat, necktie, and well-groomed moustache. Both pipes have complementing colored marbled bent stems. A truly fine choice for tobacco smoking and a fine collectible for Holmes and Watson aficionados.

These meerschaum pipes are hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipes are carved, they are dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipes will color over time as they are smoked. The stems are made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand carved 2 pipe set comes in a custom-made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to these two Holmes and Watson portrait meerschaum pipes.
