His face is beautifully carved with prominent, wide cheekbones, frown lines between his eyes, a thick mustache, and a long, wavy beard. The second full-bearded old gentleman is carved at the end of the pipe that the elderly man smokes, merging in with the original beard. The old man's head is covered by a nightcap, revealing tufts of hair. A tassel hangs down on one side. The underside of the pipe has a designer lattice-carved motif. The A. Govem signature is on the side of the smooth shank. Lastly, a lengthy, scrolling designer bent stem completes this remarkable pipe. This exquisite craftsmanship not only highlights the meticulous attention to detail but also reflects the old gentleman's distinguished character. This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey.
