Deluxe Govem Calcined Billiard Meerschaum Pipe Set - This calcined meerschaum pipe is carved in a silky smooth finish, and it is polished to a fine sheen. The pipe's top and rim are a dark chocolate brown color, which fades into the natural color of meerschaum around the bowl and shank. The pipe is signed with the A. Govem signature on the side of the shank. The bent stem is a bright yellow, slightly marbled color. The pipe comes with a matching meerschaum pipe tool, carved in a smooth finish with warm brown framing a lighter cream color. One end of the pipe tool is a metal tamper, while the other is a scoop. Our calcined meerschaum pipes are hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. The pipe undergoes a heat treatment to color and darken the rim, giving it its distinct, appealing appearance. The pipe is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will deliver a cool, dry smoking experience and will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
