Special French General Hand Carved Meerschaum Pipe - The detailed carving of this moustached French General with piercing eyes is quite impressive. He wears a decorative helmet with a braided tie that holds down his wavy hair. The pipe bowl is deep and the pipe feels solid in the hand. The underside and shank are smooth and the pipe is finished with a scrolled designer bent stem.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a special fit and unique to this French General meerschaum pipe.
