Special Bearded Fisherman Smoking Pipe Meerschaum Pipe - Exceptional portrait carving of a fisherman smoking a meerschaum pipe. This fisherman has a weathered face protected by a full beard and a brimmed hat. On the underside and up the shank of the pipe is carved in a pattern of designer lattice. The bent stem is also a designer style and it is colored in shades of marbled amber. The pipe bowl is quite deep which is ideal for the pipe smoker who likes to pack in a lot of tobacco for an enjoyable long smoke. 

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a specially made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a custom fit and unique to that individual pipe.
