Special Fisherman with Silver Trim Band Meerschaum Pipe - Excellent portrait carving of a weathered fisherman smoking a pipe. The pipe features a wide silver band connector between the shank and the stem that adds a touch of classiness to the pipe. The carving is done in superb detail, from his aged face and wavy beard to the texture of his fishing hat. There is decorative designer lattice carved underneath that carries up the shank of the pipe. It joins a marbled, scrolled designer bent stem.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand carved pipe comes in a custom-made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to this fisherman meerschaum pipe.
