Deluxe Fire Department Poker Meerschaum Pipe - The front face of this poker pipe features a stunning hand-carved rendition of the Fire Department emblem, the Maltese cross. A ladder, hydrant, pickaxe, horn, and fireman hat are all carved in a lovely embossed style. The artwork extends around the back of the pipe bowl, the underside, and the shank. As a poker pipe, it can sit without tipping over. The pipe is stubby, with a long shank and short amber-colored stem. It is certainly a work of beauty and the ideal pipe for any firefighter.

The Maltese cross is an international symbol of protection and means that the firefighter who wears this cross is willing to lay down his/her life for us. This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
