Special Fancy Claw Thick Shank Meerschaum Pipe - Hand carving of a traditional smooth meerschaum pipe bowl held by a fancy eagle claw. The claw is carved with precision, with sharp talons and uniform scales traveling up the thick shank. Near the bottom of the pipe bowl are delicate touches of round lattice carved between the talons. A marbled, bent stem colored in amber tones finishes the pipe nicely.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as you smoke it. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
