Deluxe Embossed Sitting Knurl Meerschaum Pipe - Artistically carved in full detail, this meerschaum knurl pipe features a volcano-style pipe bowl with a flat bottom. The pipe is carved in a creative design with the use of leaves around the bottom half of the bowl and a scrolled design framed with individually carved round beads circling the top. The underside is carved in a flower pattern framed in a geometric design. Although the bottom is carved, the pipe does sit without toppling over. A carved knurl is an accented addition and connects to a translucent, marbled amber bent stem.

A knurl is a piece of solid block meerschaum that is designed in either a carved or smooth finish. It fits on the shank of the meerschaum pipe and serves as an attractive extension. A knurl makes the shank longer, thereby increasing the overall length of the pipe. With this extension, the smoke has further to travel, which gives more time to cool down before reaching the end of the mouthpiece. Knurls on our meerschaum pipes have a Teflon threaded connector, making it easy to remove when cleaning the pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as you smoke it. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
