Elephant Meerschaum Pipe - Carving of an elephant with its trunk thrown back towards the pipe bowl. The huge elephant ears make the sides of the very deep pipe bowl. The pipe is carved almost in an Oom Paul style with the attractive tiger stem sweeping upward. Its a bit heavy and bold, but that's what elephants are! Nice pipe for the person who likes elephant collectibles and one that will also be a great tobacco smoking pipe.
This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom burgundy leather and velvet lined brass hinged case. The hand made case is a custom fit and unique to the individual pipe.
