Special Smooth Egg in Backwards Claw Meerschaum Pipe - Dramatic carving of a smooth, egg shaped bowl held by a backwards claw. The scales of the claw's foot are carved in full detail and they become part of the shank of the pipe. The thick shank connects to a translucent bent scrolled designer tiger stem. The pipe features a deep bowl, is lightweight for its size, and is an ideal pipe for the large-handed pipe smoker. 

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a special fit and unique to this backwards claw pipe.
