The scales of the claw are carved on the underside and long shank of the pipe with great precision. The pipe has a glossy finish and is lightweight for its size. A bent stem colored in marbled amber shades is the finishing touch to this beautiful pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
