Deluxe Eagle in Backwards Claw Meerschaum Pipe - It is rare to see a carving of an eagle head held by a claw. The backwards claw design works well for holding this eagle with its large beak protruding at the front. The carved shank angles upward, where it connects to a scrolled designer stem. The stem color is also unusual with its marbled coloring of deep shades of red. An excellent smoking and collectible pipe as well as a conversational piece.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit and unique to this deluxe eagle in claw pipe.
