Special Dragon Sitter Silver Band Meerschaum Pipe - Imaginative and expertly hand-carved, this stunning meerschaum pipe combines mythical and regal motifs in a dramatic display of artistry. The front face of the pipe bowl is sculpted in the form of a fire-breathing dragon complete with finely textured wings, scales, and deeply set eyes that convey intensity and presence. The dragon's tail whips around to one side of the large bowl while the fire breath carries to the other side. The remainder of the bowl is carved in lattice, and the shank has a textured surface. A silver-colored band is attached to the shank's end where it meets a richly marbled, fully bent stem in shades of deep red. The pipe has a bold and substantial feel in the hand. This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating. The pipe will change color over time to shades of golden brown as it is smoked, drawing out nicotine and tar particles with its natural filtering. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
