Deluxe Basket Weave Flared Shank Meerschaum Pipe - Traditional basket weave design is carved in an apple bowl shape. The basket weave carving carries up the flared shank where it meets a translucent marbled bent stem colored in earthtones. This pipe is fully carved in classic basket weave style except for a carved smooth band on the rim of the pipe bowl with a matching smooth band where the shank and stem connect. A handsome pipe for the meerschaum pipe smoker who is partial to this classic design.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.

Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom black leather and velvet lined brass hinged case. The hand made case is a custom fit and unique to the individual pipe.
