Claw Lattice Rim Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - An ornate lattice design carving runs along the top edge of this traditional claw-shaped churchwarden pipe bowl. The smooth bowl is held by the claw's sharp talons, while scales and feathers are intricately carved. The bent churchwarden stem features a vibrant swirled combination of amber tones. The advantage of a pipe with a churchwarden stem is that it allows the smoke to cool as it travels from the bowl to the end of the mouthpiece. The pipe comes with a black velvet drawstring pipe bag for storage and protection at no additional cost.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability. Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a kind piece of artistry.
