Deluxe Signed Cevher Michelangelo Meerschaum Pipe - What a rare meerschaum pipe! This surprising pipe is a carving of the famous Italian sculptor and painter Michelangelo. It is immaculately carved and signed by Master Carver Cevher, who has been carving meerschaum pipes since 1971. Cevher captured the artist's look in this portrait carving with attention paid to every detail. The set-back eyes are protected by thick eyebrows, and a bushy moustache flows into a wavy beard. Long locks of hair are held down by his artist's beret, with a stylish feather cascading down one side. The shank is smooth and carries the Cevher signature. The pipe is finished with a translucent, amber-colored bent tiger stem. Quite the fantastic pipe for art and meerschaum lovers to add to their meerschaum pipe collection!

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
