Hand Carved Castle Signed by Cevher Meerschaum Pipe - Exquisitely carved pipe by Cevher is amazing in its design and details. We took many pictures to show this pipe in multiple angles in attempt to capture its beauty.
The front of the pipe bowl depicts a gateway entrance with the protective stone curtain wall carved along one side showing another gateway into a courtyard. The other side shows more gateways and towers with hidden courtyards. Carved steps connect them all and lead to the various levels of the castle with the highest going up to the tall standing tower in the center of the castle. On the far side of the castle is a carving of a tree growing from the moat and showing its trunk and branches covered in leaves. The underside of the pipe is carved in a rusticated style texture.
The pipe is also made unique with a silver band connecting the pipe to a knurl. This pipe is signed on the smooth portion of the knurl by Cevher who is known for his attention to detail and artistic style. Castles are a difficult subject to carve and it is rare to find a castle pipe carved in this degree of excellence. Royal Meerschaum Pipes is pleased to offer this very fine collectible.
This one of a kind pipe was made in Turkey by Cevher carved from the very finest 100% solid block meerschaum. Once carved it was soaked in a special beeswax giving it an antiqued cream color. The pipe will color over time after being smoked. The tiger scrolled designer stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for good looks and long lasting durability. The pipe comes in a velvet lined burgundy leather case with brass hinges that was custom made for this special castle pipe.
