Special Calabash Smooth Meerschaum Pipe - Classic Calabash meerschaum pipe has a smooth finish polished to a light glossy shine. There is a touch of carved lattice on each side of the shank. The shank has a slight flare with a beveled edge that joins a bent stem in marbled amber colors. Traditional style with a touch of flare, this is an attractive and fine smoking tobacco pipe to have in your meerschaum collection.  

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as you smoke it. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every solid block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, each pipe is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of artistry. This hand-carved pipe comes in a specially made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a custom fit and unique to this calabash meerschaum pipe.
