Special Calabash Lattice Redwood Meerschaum Pipe - Made from Okoume wood, a hardwood from Africa, this Sherlock Holmes-style calabash pipe is a beautiful deep red color. The solid block meerschaum calabash bowl insert is carved in a detailed and attractive designer lattice motif. The pipe has an army mount, also known as a military bit. Both ends of the bit are stamped and covered in 925 sterling silver. A black acrylic tapered stem adds to the design and is removable for easy cleaning. Okoume calabash pipes produce a particularly cool smoke because the smoke rests in the chamber in between inhalations, making them a popular style pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating while also drawing out smoke particles and tar. Over time, the pipe will change color as it is smoked. The stem is composed of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
