Special Buffalo with Lattice Shank Meerschaum Pipe - Impressive, fully detailed carving of a buffalo head showing his nostrils, eyes, ears, horns, and all the hair on his face and head in depth. The pipe also has elaborate carvings on the underside and shank that is done in a designer lattice pattern. The scrolled designer bent stem is colorful with lots of movement in the marbled light and dark amber tones. Hard to find buffalo pipes now so if you like this one grab it while available.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, so no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand-carved pipe comes in a specially made burgundy leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case which is a custom fit and unique to that individual pipe.
