The bowl is carved in a basket weave design, while the shank carries a rusticated style of textured finish. The underside of the pipe features a design as if the bowl is sitting in petals. A sterling silver rim stamped 925 adds a rich and contemporary look. The black saddle-style bent stem is a handsome contrast to the sterling silver and white meerschaum. This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made out of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
