Special Basket Weave Bent Stem Meerschaum Pipe - The tall billiard pipe bowl is carved in a traditional basket weave pattern that carries up the shank. The hand-carved horizontal weave is smooth, contrasting with the verticle-textured weave. The pipe bowl is favorably deep. A translucent marbled amber-toned bent stem adds an attractive finish to the pipe, which makes for an excellent daily smoking pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
