Special Basket Weave Billiard Meerschaum Pipe - A classic basket weave design surrounds this billiard bowl meerschaum pipe, with the basket weave theme extending up the shank. Both ends of the basket weave are embellished with carved round beads that circle the top of the bowl and also wrap around the shank. The pipe bowl is thick and large enough to hold a good amount of tobacco. The bent stem is marbled in rich, dark amber tones to finish the pipe attractively.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating while also drawing out smoke particles and tar. Over time, the pipe will change color as it is smoked. The stem is composed of a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand carved pipe comes in a custom-made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to this basket weave meerschaum pipe.
