Deluxe Basket Straight Stem Meerschaum Pipe - A traditional tall billiard pipe bowl is carved in a classic basket weave style that carries through the long shank. The hand-carved horizontal weave is smooth, contrasting with the vertical-textured weave. The top of the pipe bowl has carved beads circling around it, and the rim is carved in a round lattice pattern. A marbled amber-toned straight stem finishes the pipe nicely. It is an ideal choice for the meerschaum tobacco smoker who is partial to this basket weave design and likes a straight stem.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
