Special Baglan Signed Einstein Meerschaum Pipe - This adorable sculpture of the famous physicist and Nobel Prize laureate was inspired by the picture of Albert Einstein sticking out his tongue. His humorous side is depicted in this portrait carving by Master Carver Baglan. Einstein's long hair, thick eyebrows, and neatly cropped mustache are all features that accurately capture his likeness. He's wearing a necktie and a shirt with a collar. The underside and shank of the pipe are carved with a design of flowers and leaves. At the end of the shank is a smooth band with the I. Baglan signature engraved on the underside. A bent, scrolled-designed stem in marbled amber tones completes the pipe nicely. This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made from a special Amberoid acrylic, which provides a great finished look and long-lasting durability.
