Special Baglan Sherlock in Claw Meerschaum Pipe - Baglan carved this pipe particularly for fans of Detective Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock is wearing his classic hat and smoking a meerschaum pipe. He is held in a backwards claw that is carved in immaculate detail. The pipe is pre-colored in a rich warm golden brown with only the meerschaum pipe he is smoking showing the traditional white meerschaum color. It is quite a large size with a deep bowl and with Baglan's signature on the side of the shank. A scrolled designer bent stem is the final touch to this pipe. A great collector's tobacco pipe and also one that will bring years of pipe smoking pleasure.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.

Every meerschaum pipe we sell is hand carved so no two pipes are exactly the same. Each hand carved pipe comes in a custom burgundy leather and velvet lined brass hinged case. The hand made case is a custom fit and unique to the individual pipe.
