In the meerschaum world, the complex Dunhill design is a carving of a bearded man smoking a pipe with another bearded man smoking a pipe! The old bearded man has crow's feet and wears a night cap with a tassel hanging down the back. The expansive flowing beard serves as a platform allowing the pipe to sit. On the underside of the pipe is a gorgeous floral design with a leaf pattern carrying up the shank. The I. Baglan signature is found at the end of the shank on the underside of the smooth band where it connects to a scrolled designer bent stem. The pipe is polished to a fine sheen and finished with a special wax formula that is a deep, rich golden yellow color. Whether you're a pipe smoking enthusiast or a collector, this unique piece of art will surely add a touch of character to your collection.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
