Deluxe Bacchus with Dark Bent Stem Meerschaum Pipe - A great portrait carving of Bacchus shows his fun-loving character and zest for life. His laughter comes from an open mouth, displaying a full set of healthy teeth! Prominent cheekbones, a full mustache and beard, and dancing eyes are portrayed in his happy face. He wears a wreath of grape leaves with bunches of grapes hanging on each side of the pipe bowl. A dark, translucent bent stem adds to the beauty of this pipe.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
