Deluxe Bacchus Thick Bowl Designer Stem Meerschaum Pipe - A stout pipe bowl is covered in a hand-carved portrait of Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and fertility. His smiling, happy face adorns the front of the bowl. The face is carved in exquisite detail, with raised eyebrows above his twinkling eyes, round cheekbones, and a full mustache and beard. He wears a wreath of grape leaves that circles the entire top of the pipe bowl. Bunches of grapes hang on each side. A designer, scrolled bent stem attaches to the smooth shank. When holding this pipe, it is the perfect shape and fit for an average hand.

This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.
