Special Arasta Sterling Calabash Churchwarden Meerschaum Pipe - What a magnificent meerschaum pipe! This smooth meerschaum pipe is a calabash churchwarden pipe carved by Master Carver Arasta. The pipe has two sterling silver bands marked 925. One band sits on the lip of the deep pipe bowl, while the other is attached to the bent stem. The pipe is made from the highest quality meerschaum and polished to a high gloss finish. The smooth shank flares outward, and the Arasta signature is located on the side. The shank's end is beveled and joins a brilliant blue band, which in turn connects to the sterling silver band. The Arasta logo is inlaid into the bent stem, which is a gorgeous marbled amber pearlescent tint.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid acrylic for a nice finished look and long lasting durability.
