Special 3D Lattice Straight Stem Meerschaum Pipe - Classic straight stem meerschaum pipe is carved in 3D lattice all around the thick pipe bowl. Carving in 3D lattice is a special technique that requires the Turkish carver to take extra care and pay attention to detail with lots of patience! The pipe will color from the inside out, and this will make the pipe take on interesting looks that will change more and more as the pipe is smoked. The pipe sits flat at an angle, so tobacco will not spill out when you lay it down to rest. The straight, translucent stem is colored in muted earthtones.

This meerschaum pipe is hand carved from genuine 100% Solid Block Meerschaum and imported directly from central Turkey. After the pipe is carved it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating and to also draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will color over time as it is smoked. The stem is made of a special Amberoid Acrylic for a nice finished look and long-lasting durability.

Since every block meerschaum pipe we sell is carved by hand, no two pipes are exactly the same. This hand carved pipe comes in a custom made black leather and velvet-lined brass hinged case. It is a special fit that is unique to this 3D lattice meerschaum pipe.
